As a Website Editor at WorldFirst you’ll be helping our customers to access the various services and products we offer that support SMEs with their international payment needs.
You will be part of our marketing team where your primary focus will be updating content on our proprietary CMS using HTML and will work closely with the Senior Website and Digital Manager
You will also support with our exciting new CMS migration, implementing new designs and content to optimise our performance, engagement and conversion across our website, and enhance user experience, moving to a truly mobile first platform.
You are able to prioritise tasks in an ever-changing environment to ensure that the websites are updated accurately, efficiently, and on time to meet a pre-agreed schedule.
You will ensure that web pages are presented in line with our brand identity and TOV.
Great time management and prioritisation skills, with the experience of working within a team and challenging workload.
Strong technical skills including ability to edit, manage and publish to websites including a good working knowledge of CSS3 and HTML5 and the ability to handcraft both.
Good knowledge of SEO, with an excellent understanding of the principles which form best practice for on-site optimisation.
Experience of using content management systems to produce content and administer a website or blog.
Prior experience of using website analytics and gauging the effectiveness of web content, specifically relating to Google Analytics.
A proactive problem solver, you will look for creative solutions and be able to communicate clearly at all levels.
Excellent writing, spelling and grammar skills, and attention to detail.
Technically proficient – able to learn new tools and platforms quickly
Experience of complying with business processes, rules and regulations

The role
Use the content management system to carry out website admin tasks including uploading and managing new and existing product information and assets.
Scheduling and publishing content as per business requirements.
Proofing, debugging, cross browser testing, to ensure pixel perfect execution of all web content.
Testing of websites with regular checks to ensure, links, images and content are correct and fully functional.
Trouble-shooting minor issues with content layout and styling, and carry out fixes to websites.
Provide support for all website and CMS related issues.
Maintain strong working relationships with all teams that brief work into the Website and Digital team.
Conducting site-wide searches to update or remove specific links, references or terms when required.
Undertaking simple image processing tasks and optimisation of website assets.
