Apprenticeship Development Leader – Engineering (Rolls-Royce - Inchinnan, Scotland)

Training 2000 is a charitable trust set up by a consortium of Lancashire businesses and is now one of the largest Group Training Associations in England, with over 50 years' experience of delivering high quality work-based learning and training programmes to industry and individuals. We have grown to around 240 staff and many centres across the North West and other areas of the UK, working with national employers across a wide range of sectors, whilst maintaining local support.

In accordance with our organisational development we have the following important vacancy within our Commercial Organisation, Engineering department to be based at the Rolls Royce site in Inchinnan, near Glasgow.

About the role:

You will be responsible for the day to day monitoring and assessment of a group of Apprentices working towards the achievement of Apprenticeship frameworks in manufacturing disciplines.

The post requires a self motivated and effective team player who possesses excellent communication, organisational skills and the technical ability to assess engineering apprentices.


You need to be committed, passionate and driven to deliver the company’s objective of an Amazing place with Amazing people!

This role will involve an amount of travel and a current driving licence and availability of a vehicle is therefore essential.

Applicants must have completed a recognised Manufacturing or Engineering Apprenticeship, hold an assessor qualification and Team Leading experience would be a definite advantage.
