We are now looking for an experienced Business Analyst to come and join our team here in Edinburgh.
You will work with internal and external stakeholders to elicit requirements for changes to or creation of GTS products. You will also be part of the scrum team in the iterative development of new features and products providing insight, analysis and general resourcing on tasks undertaken by the cross-functional scrum team.
You will also support the Product Managers and Development Leaders.
Role and Responsibilities Gathering requirements in collaboration with stakeholders Work with stakeholders to create user stores and acceptance criteria Work as part of the scrum team to develop features and products within sprints Work ahead of the scrum team to get clarity on enough requirements before the next iteration Helping project leaders to understand feasibility and define scope of a project Working with the project leaders to ensure the solution is delivered within timescales and budget
You will have a minimum of 3 years experience in business/systems analysis and/or application design &
development An understanding of the Agile SDLC Demonstrated track record of delivering solutions that meet business needs Accomplished in working directly with clients to define solutions that enable their business objectives Experience in working in a geographically dispersed team environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent oral and written communication skills including problem solving, prioritising and interpersonal relationship building Critical thinker:
able to decompose the abstract into details Proven attention to detail and accuracy essential Being logical and objective Embraces change Being able to work under pressure Flexible in approach Knowledge of the healthcare market, particularly veterinary would be helpful Some travel will be involved with on-site customer visits and potential user day events Being self-motivated and proactive Work with stakeholders to create features, epics and user stories Work with the scrum team to identify potential implementation solutions Assist QA with test preparation by creating test cases, test conditions, and test data Assist QA with internal test execution, inclusive of documenting results, tracking bugs, and trouble-shooting defects and issues that arise out of testing Create and/or update client-facing documentation to support new releases
