Hampshire County Council is undergoing an exciting period of transformation which is being facilitated by a shift towards cloud-based services to enable a more mobile and flexible workforce. To support this, we are looking for experienced Technical Consultants to join our friendly, high performing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of technical solutions based on some of the latest enterprise class platforms. These technologies include Hyperconverged Infrastructure, Windows Server 2016, Office 365 product suite, Azure services and Intune, Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager, Citrix, VMware and End User Devices running Windows 10. About You You will be a self-motivated individual with ability to deliver excellence and able to work effectively with others. You may be a subject matter expert in one of the technologies that we use, or you may be a generalist with experience across a number of areas. Either way, you will be working with cutting edge technologies to deliver transformational projects or supporting and maintaining existing services. You will have proven experience and be used to working in a professional environment using ITIL processes. You will be a trusted advisor to senior managers and will support and mentor less experienced colleagues. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team and the vast range of technologies will provide a great opportunity to develop your knowledge. We don’t expect you to be proficient in all the areas that we cover, but if this sounds like you, you are a quick learner and have strong technical experience, then we would love to hear from you.
