Purpose of role - Product Marketing Manager – Go To Market, is a focal role in the Product Marketing and Commercial practice and wider CDKi business in understanding what the commercial opportunity is in the market place, the customer segment, and the scope of the project with a view to determining the right products with the right commercial construct to drive customer satisfaction, market penetration and growth. This involves managing across the various CDKi markets, distributors and partners Go-to-market and Out-of-market projects, product launch campaigns, product evolution initiatives including cross sell and upsell plans and building and maintaining customer advocacy. The role involves international travel, a flexible approach, management of internal and external stakeholders, the ability to communicate and influence across a range of cultures and seniority levels. Responsibilities - Go-to-Market Be the expert on CDKi Go-to-Market opportunities and existing projects covering XSeed, Financial Year Strategic and all Market initiatives and effectively manage and prioritise all initiatives across these areas. Build and execute GTM structured plans for CDKi, Partner, Reseller and Distributor product initiatives using robust market data and insights to clearly define CDKi’s market opportunity. Understand intimately the details and nuances of CDKIs product’s market, buyer personas, and be able to guide and evolve business results in terms of sales Drive all quarterly in market Product Accelerator programmes in conjunction with Commercial Operations. Support and drive each market to progress through all Go-to-Market projects in a timely and productive cadence. Measure what works, what doesn’t work and base business decisions on the analysis of that data Out of Market Build and execute a product End of Life process. Align with existing product lifecycle management and effectively communicate this both internally within CDK and externally to our customer base. Facilitate and manage all product End of Life process internal CDK training. Lead and manage all ongoing product ‘sunset’ projects working with the selected key internal committee key stakeholders. Launch Campaigns Aligning closely with the wider PMKi and central marketing teams help to deliver as part of all product launch campaigns, Product Solution Offerings, Customer Value Propositions and supporting Product Collateral/Materials. Collectively agree product launch campaign KPI’s and Metrics to effectively measure marketing ROI and track both Marketing Qualified Leads (MQAL’s) and Sales Qualified Leads (SQAL’s) Product Evolution Deliver GTM product heat maps by market to support both new product introduction and existing product evolution/cross sell/up sell opportunities to broaden CDKi’s portfolio presence within each existing customer and new customer prospects. Regularly review agreed in life product KPI’s and metrics to manage product lifecycles Customer Advocacy Through exceptional Go-to-market execution help build customer advocacy by driving CDKi brand affinity. Work with central marketing to create new customer reference product case studies. Help to facilitate and participate in customer forums for feedback and direction supporting all product Go-to-market initiatives as required. Key Results Indicators &
Measures of success - Key measure of success will be achievement of additional sales and revenue from the products and GTM Further measures will include successful engagement levels and attendance, completion of planning and events kept to budget and in time and feedback from key Stakeholders. Skills / Knowledge &
ExperienceAutomotive Dealership knowledge is desirable but not essential. Excellent understanding of market and customer data, ways to analyse and retrieve insights to support the development of successful Product Marketing plans Extensive product marketing experience, comfortable to represent the “voice of customer” within CDKi Extensive experience in B2B;
software product marketing;
experience is a plus Experience evangelizing technical products across settings including webinars, trade shows, sales meetings, and company events Can see a gap in market and understand how to fill it Ability to communicate and influence across different seniority levels and cultures Independent, self-starter but also a devoted team player Use of product development tools e.G.
