About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager on a full time, permanent basis, to ensure a high quality service is provided to people living in our 55+ peoples housing schemes. This includes sheltered housing and extra care schemes. You will lead and manage the team to develop sustainable and cohesive communities, in which residents are encouraged to remain socially active, safe and engaged in their community. Acting as a policy lead for GreenSquare’s services for older people, you will also ensure a holistic and comprehensive service is provided by developing positive working relationships with external support, care providers and caterers and with internal departments such as property services, customer accounts and lettings teams. About you For this role, it is essential that you have experience of undertaking a social housing role and demonstrable evidence of understanding issues facing older people, particularly those with disabilities or lower incomes. You will deliver high quality results in a timely manner while maintaining the ability to plan, organise and successfully execute multiple tasks simultaneously with timeliness and accuracy. You must be able to build trust with others and create an environment that encourages motivation. You will also be able to manage people in line with corporate policies and procedures, e. G. performance, capability, conduct, reward, sickness etc. Closing Date – 10 November 2019 Interview Date – Week commencing 18 November 2019
