Avon Partnership NHS Occupational Health Service (APOHS) has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join the team and make a significant contribution to the future direction of the service.

APOHS is an NHS provider, hosted by University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust, in partnership with North Bristol NHS Trust, supporting individuals and organisations on all aspects of health at work.
As the Business Development Manager, you will have a pivotal role in shaping the APOHS business strategy, transformational vision and growth of the service, whilst supporting the management of a large day to day operation which guarantees efficiency, quality and success.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, where no two days are the same, the service supports a myriad of large and small, commercial and public sector organisations, locally and regionally, on the basis of a trusted Occupational Health Partner.
Our current Business Manager will be retiring soon, after 10 years in the role, and with recent investment, this new appointment will mark an exciting opportunity to develop and transform the service and establish itself at the heart of the employee health and wellbeing agenda.

What are we looking for?
Always seeking income generation and commercial opportunities, you will have a demonstrable track record of marketing and winning new income opportunities. Financially and business savvy, the right candidate will be driven and proactive with a keen eye for detail and be able to evidence successful business acumen, ideally within a healthcare setting, but not essential. Excellent stakeholder management skills will be the key to your success, engaging with and building excellent working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to move the service forward.
