We have a fantastic opportunity for a Facilities Contract Manager to join our Siemens Mobility Real Estate Management team (MO REM) who is responsible for all of Siemens Mobility real estate activities ? managing the company?s real estate portfolio, optimizing the utilisation of space, and overseeing the operation of its real estate holdings including all real-estate-related services, as well as having responsibility for leasing and disposing of real estate assets and implementing all construction projects. Reporting to the Head of Real Estate Management, you will also undertake management of client interface regarding facilities location briefing, in reporting and any other task related to facilities management activities. Ideally you would be based within the Midlands region however we are considering other locations as well. In this role, you would be expected to travel to other locations in the South and occasionally to the North of the UK, therefore we also offer company car as a benefit to you. What are your responsibilities Develop facilities portfolio within your region and build successful customer relationships with suppliers and contact partner for all real estate facilities related topics Ensure timely provision and maintenance of all facilities and services for Mobility sites in the UK Work closely with services providers to deliver maintenance plan and facilities services and optimization of facilities with support from other members of the team Track buildings upkeep as well as anticipate short- and long-term maintenance and improvements Manage security and overall safe work environment for employees by working closely with Asset Manager, Health & Safety and service providers Ensure general site activities, such as maintenance, cleaning, security, waste disposal, vending, parking and any other services are provided as per agreement by the service providers Establish appropriate methods of communication with the MO REM and leadership team to define, plan and agree real estate strategy for facilities management Identify any facilities related capital expenditure requirements and maintain, a three to five-year plan for MO REM sites;
Plan and control the annual real estate and facilities management budget Lead the lean activity necessary to achieve continuous improvement goal for facilities utilization by working closely with services providers Support the selection of high performing facilities management suppliers for all sites Monitor and manage supplier performance to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction Set clear and measurable service level agreements with suppliers. Monitor and review performance at appropriate intervals. Manage supplier issues to ensure quick resolution Ensure compliance with relevant EHS policy and regulations. Carry out regular safety inspections and promote safety initiatives Driving continuous improvement of real estate cost for internal customers demonstration innovation, value add and saving, engage with lean activities across the portfolio What do you need to qualify for this role Essentials Facilities and contract management experience and demonstrable leadership skills Strong customer orientation Proven communication skills including IT & social competency Extensive professional experience with responsibility in manufacturing/office locations and functions You will be comfortable working in an international, multi-cultural team and capable of working effectively across department boundaries in a large organization. Preferred Knowledge in multiple Corporate Real Estate disciplines, e. G. Asset Management, Property management, Procurement of Real Estate Services & Legal aspects You will also have reasonable experience in complex facilities management, preferably for a large corporation You possess excellent negotiation and communication skills in English, both written and verbally Another European language is a plus #LI-MB1 About us We?re Siemens.
