Robert Half are recruiting for a Scheduler to join a growing Castleford based business that has seen strong demand for its services in recent months, and is adding in new headcount as a result of this growth to further strengthen the team. We are seeking applications from candidates with experience as Schedulers, Planners Service Controllers or Help desk maintenance that are looking for a busy, fast paced role that ensures the scheduling of work for a group of UK based Engineers is carried out to a high standard.
Typical duties of a scheduler include:
Planning all work nationally for a designated team of Support Engineers by liaising with both the Engineers and with Clients Ensure that the Support Engineers have all the required equipment and training to carry out a high level of Service while at the Client's premises Generate and provide management reports for the Senior Management Team on various KPI's that are monitored Track work completion and ensure that clients are invoiced correctly and on time Any other ad hoc duties that support the Engineers in carrying out their tasks In order to be considered for this role applicants will need to have:
Recent experience as Scheduler, planner, Service controller or maintenance help desk professional Strong people skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally Problem solving skills and the ability to project a calm manner when the workload increases during busy periods Strong IT skills, specifically with Excel
