Warehouse First Line Manager
Logistics done differently. Here at XPO, we’re looking for full-time, permanent Warehouse First Line Managers to join us across our two Iceland operations in Swindon. You’ll be responsible for ensuring and driving efficient operational performance, whilst maintaining strong communications with the on-site senior management team. You’ll work a rotating early and late shift on an ‘any 5 from 7’ shift pattern. Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £29,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. Lead a team of up to 70 colleagues within our frozen, chill and ambient chambers Set daily and weekly KPIs and ensure that these are always being met and exceeded Maximise productivity and improve quality in order to grow your team Lead HR requirements in relation to investigation, disciplinary, grievance and absence management What you need to succeed at XPO:
Proven experience in managing a large operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment (ideally a food or multi-temperature operation) The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement The ability and flexibility to travel between two sites in the Swindon area Be part of something big.
